SOITS - Small Office IT Solutions - is itself a home office; moreover, it is run in addition to my professional occupation as a corporate IT Manager. The business was established in early 2008 and is not my primary occupation therefore you are not subjected to corporate overheads or margins, just a genuine personal IT service.

Being centred in Canberra our network solutions are confined to clients within the ACT; however, our business Website solutions are not bound by geographical boundaries.

How We Do It

Small Office IT Solutions minimise your costs by sourcing products and technologies from suppliers as required - no significant quantities of hardware or software are stored on-site therefore storage overheads are not passed to you. Products, including both hardware and software, are sourced at the lowest price and are supplied with full manufacturer's warranty, licensing, and if applicable support contracts e.g. Cisco SmartNet and Dell ProSupport. This methodology can achieve cost savings to you of up to 40% below recommended retail on selected products.

We offer only products and technologies from leading global manufacturers including, but not limited to: Microsoft, Cisco, Dell, Adaptec, nVidia, Trend Micro and Acronis. As an added cost saving several of our products use highly regarded and awarded General Public Licence (GPL) software e.g. the Joomla! Content Management System (CMS) infrastructure for your business Website.

Furthermore, we maintain and value formal partnership agreements with Microsoft, Trend Micro, Acronis and 2X which empowers SOITS to provide you with direct technical support, product datasheets and licensing, and technology recommendations to suite your IT infrastructure.
